Meet Will Allen, DMD
Dr. Allen is a board-certified oral surgeon with a clinical interest in dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, repair of failing dental implants, full-arch restoration, reconstruction of the atrophic maxilla, and in-office sedation.
About Dr. Allen
Dr. Will Allen was born in Charleston, South Carolina, but grew up just outside of Lexington, Kentucky. He served in the military for three years, during which he lived in Germany and was deployed to Bosnia. Following his military service, Dr. Allen wanted to do something involving healthcare where he could work with his hands. He chose oral surgery because it is a part of dentistry that allows him to restore oral health, help extend the life of patients’ teeth, and alleviate pain.
After his oral surgery residency, Dr. Allen completed a fellowship in corrective jaw surgery because he enjoyed seeing the dramatic change it imparts on a patient’s life. Dr. Allen is passionate about rehabilitating failed dental implants and helping more patients qualify for implant-based dental treatment. Some patients are told they cannot receive implants because they are medically compromised or lack sufficient bone. Dr. Allen works with these cases and offers a variety of implant techniques to help more patients achieve healthy and complete smiles.
Dr. Allen joined Kentuckiana Oral Maxillofacial and Dental Implant Surgery in 2012 after looking for a resourceful team who valued collaboration and patient care. During your initial consultation, Dr. Allen will work with you and your dentist to develop a surgical plan that meets your goals and helps you restore and maintain a beautiful smile. He finds it rewarding to help his patients lead healthier, happier lives.
